A Bit About Lea

Lea is a graduate of UNC Pembroke and holds a deep-rooted connection to North Carolina.  She has cultivated a profound passion for working with teens, their families, and adults navigating life transitions. Lea’s approach to therapy is founded on the bedrock of building authentic relationships with clients and is rooted in trust and empathy. She is committed to actively listening to each person’s narratives, understanding their unique experiences, and collaboratively devising holistic solutions to their challenges.

Whether you're a teenager grappling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or LGBTQIA2S+ issues, or an older adult carrying the weight of past struggles, Lea is here to help you navigate your journey. Specializing in relationships, mental health distress, and evidence-based therapy, Lea offers a compassionate approach to guiding individuals and families towards greater understanding and healing.

She also has extensive experience in supporting neurodivergent clients and addressing family conflicts, and she believes in the power of bringing families into sessions when needed to work on shared challenges and to develop collaborative solutions. In sessions, Lea draws upon recent literature and collaborates with fellow providers to offer personalized, effective therapy. She believes in offering direct feedback when necessary, challenging clients to foster growth and insight.

Beyond therapy, you can find Lea exploring Wilmington with her pup, enjoying time with loved ones, or immersing herself in the local arts scene. She is genuinely eager to embark on this transformative journey of healing and growth alongside you, providing unwavering support and guidance every step of the way. Lea is ready to navigate the path to self-discovery and empowerment together.
